  • The Allahabad High Court has ruled that the practice of triple talaq among the Muslims is Unconstitutional and violates the rights of women’s in India under our Constitution
  • Also the High Court said that, “No Personal Law Board is above the Constitution”
  • Triple talaq is a practice among the Muslims, that the Muslim man divorcing his wife unilaterally u pronouncing the word, “talaq” thrice.
  • 5th India – Arab Partnership Conference will be held at Muscat, Oman on coming 14th December
  • Objective of the conference is, to enhance the economic relations between India and Arab Countries and Oman
  • The theme of the Conference is = Partnership Towards Innovation and Co-Operation in Information Technology
  • India – UK Conference on Ease of Doing Business will be held at New Delhi
  • The Conference enhances the economic relations between these two countries
  • The Laureates and Leaders Summit, will going to be held on December 10th at New Delhi
  • President will Inaugurates the summit
  • Purpose of the summit is to advance the fight against Child Labour, Child Slavery and Violence against Children
  • Summit was organized by Kailash Sathyarthi
  • Indian Army launches the Veterans Outreach Mobile App
  • It will be dedicated to Army Veterans
  • The app was developed by DIAV (Directorate of Indian Army Veterans)
  • A team of researchers from the University of Illinois discovered he existence of hot atomic hydrogen atoms in an upper layer of Earth’s Atmosphere, known as Thermosphere
  • It was acquired by NASA’s TIMED Satellite (TIMED = Thermosphere Ionosphere Mesosphere Energetics and Dynamics)
  • The Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) Committee recommended limiting bat size edges and depths along with many other suggestions.
  • The recommendations were made by the MCC’s World Cricket Committee, headed by Former England Captain Mike Brearley
  • The Committee also recommends football – hockey like red card as punishment for violent acts in fields
